Greetings to the Hive Open Mic community. My name is Putra Daffa, and I am here to participate again in the weekly music event #OpenMic week 189 with the theme "My Perception". From this theme, I cover the guitar and melody with the song "Sad But True" by Metallica. This song was written by James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich. The song was released in 1991 on the fifth album "The Black Album". It is an amazing album from the band Metallica.

Lyrically, "Sad but True" describes the dark side of human beings, including weakness, fear, and feelings of suffering. I think the song "Sad but True" is an honest and realistic song about the dark side of humanity. It doesn't try to hide or cover up human weaknesses and fears but rather acknowledges them honestly.

Everyone has a dark side. Many people choose to avoid and fight the dark side within because it is a part of themselves that is considered negative and unnecessary. In my perception, the dark side is something that we must accept and admit that it is part of us. We don't need to be afraid and ashamed of having a dark side in our lives. We don't need to hide the dark side in our lives, because everyone has it.
