hope y'all are fine and meet this post in good health and high spirits ...... This is Stefanovah and I'm here with my entry for the open mic week 162. I'm glad I'm able to share music with y'all. Thanks for giving me your ears and time once again.
This week our theme as chosen by @maryjacy is Be Okay. To me this suggests songs that center around being fine or being alright. Motivational songs of sorts, which will be a continuation of what my entry last week centred on.... I've had quite a week, feeling a bit down and bit overwhelmed but I'm grateful I had to do this presentation, reassuring myself as much as any other that we'll be fine. I attempted something I've been discouraged from doing before; making a kind of original song of my own using samples from one or more pre-existing related songs and adding my own elements and arrangements to it.
The song which I title The Confidence simply gives a reassurance that we're gonna be fine. There's a scripture in the bible that says "Those who put their trust in God shall not be ashamed" and another says God is a rewarder of those who seek him. These are the basis of this song, along with faith and hope.... The song which I sampled the most is in Nigerian pidgin, which is a local variant of English so I had to do my best to make it more widely understandable by making one or two translations and adding a bit of Spanish here and there. I hope you like this song.

Esta semana nuestro tema elegido por @maryjacy es Estar Bien. Para mí, esto sugiere canciones que se centran en estar bien o estar bien. Canciones motivacionales de algún tipo, que serán una continuación de lo que se centró en mi entrada la semana pasada... He tenido una semana bastante, sintiéndome un poco deprimido y un poco abrumado, pero estoy agradecido de haber tenido que hacer esta presentación, tranquilizador tanto a mí como a cualquier otro que estaremos bien. Intenté algo de lo que me habían desanimado antes; hacer una especie de canción original propia usando muestras de una o más canciones relacionadas preexistentes y añadiéndole mis propios elementos y arreglos.
La canción que titulo La Confianza simplemente da la seguridad de que estaremos bien. Hay una escritura en la biblia que dice "Aquellos que ponen su confianza en Dios no serán avergonzados" y otro dice que Dios es galardonador de aquellos que lo buscan. Estas son las bases de esta canción, junto con la fe y la esperanza... La canción que más probé está en pidgin nigeriano, que es una variante local del inglés, así que tuve que hacer todo lo posible para que fuera más comprensible para todos. haciendo una o dos traducciones y agregando un poco de español aquí y allá. Espero que les guste esta canción.

Oh my , what a beautiful song, a cappella is not always easy to sing, but you did a great job with this, the background voice was amazing, the harmony was lit🔥. I love your energy.
