Hello Hive Open Mic community, it’s @wealthwess here, and I’m thrilled to join you for Week 292. This week’s theme, Moving Mountains, called me to perform a heartfelt cover of Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi.

I chose Someone You Loved because the song captures the raw ache of letting go yet beneath the heartbreak pulses a quiet strength, the kind that shifts the impossible. Just like moving mountains, it’s about facing what feels immovable, carrying the weight of loss, and still finding the will to push forward. The lyrics speak of falling, fading, and fighting to stand again, turning pain into the very force that reshapes the landscape of the soul.

Moving mountains isn’t about brute force; it’s about faith in motion, one determined step at a time. This song mirrors that journey vulnerable, honest, and ultimately defiant. It reminds us that even when we’re broken, we’re not buried, we’re becoming the momentum that changes everything.
