Hello everyone and warm welcome to my Larry hunt for Saturday, the 11th day of May, 2024. Josko Gvardiol scored twice as Manchester City defeated Fulham (0-4) away at Craven Cottage to go two points ahead of Arsenal in the Premier League title chase. With just two matches to go, City are the potential champions of the EPL. Kudos to them in advance.
Larry then veers off to have a look at today in #history.
Larry begins his look at today in history from the United Kingdom. He finds out that on this day in 2010, Gordon Brown, a Scottish-born British politician, has officially resigned as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, bringing an end to 13 years of Labour Party government.
From the United Kingdom, Larry goes to the world of Chess. He finds out that on this day in 1997, Deep Blue, IBM's chess-playing computer, defeated Garry Kasparov in the final game of a six-game match, 3.5-2.5 (it won two games and drew three); it was the first time a current world champion has lost a match to a computer under tournament conditions.
From the world of Chess, Larry goes to Jamaica. He finds out that on this day in 1981, Jamaican reggae star Bob Marley died of cancer at age 36 in Miami, Florida, U.S.A.
From Jamaica, Larry goes to Thailand. He finds out that on this day in 1817, Chang and Eng, conjoined twins who rose to global fame in the nineteenth century, were born in Meklong, Siam (Thailand).
From Thailand, Larry goes to Spain. He finds out that on this day in 1984, Andrés Iniesta, a Spanish football (soccer) player, helped his team win the Euro title in 2008 and 2012, as well as the 2010 World Cup was born in Fuentealbilla, Spain.
Finally, Larry rounds off his look at today in #history from Nigeria. He finds out that on this day in 1996, Nnamdi Azikiwe was the first President of independent Nigeria (1963–1966) and a notable nationalist died in Enugu Nigeria.
Having seen all these pieces of historical events, Larry zooms off to begin his daily deliveries.

Larry the postman as usual went about his duties delivering mails and am sure you know you can also get paid for just finding him. On my path, I hunted and found Larry in three places, that is, at Listnerds, Leadsleap and CTPX!
I could nsot surf the site today as it appears to be down. Hopefully it gets fixed sonest.
