Hello everyone and warm welcome to my Larry hunt for wednesday, the 15th day of May, 2024. Larry has been having some busy days lately. Dit appears his deliveries have tripped and that ensures he begins his day quite on time, not a usual thing, and then close.late for the day. Larry just can't wait for the weekend to come.
Larry then veers off to have a look at today in #history.
Larry begins his look at today in history from France. He finds out that on this day in this day in 1991, Edith Cresson of the Socialist Party became France's first female prime minister, although she resigned less than a year later due to rising unemployment and diminishing support within her party.
From France, Larry goes to the USA. He finds out that on this day in 1969, Abe Fortas, an American lawyer and judge, became the first Supreme Court justice to resign due to threat of impeachment.
From USA, Larry goes to Tibet. He finds out that on this day in 1914, Tenzing Norgay, the first person to stand atop Mount Everest alongside Sir Edmund Hillary, was born in Tshechu, Tibet.
From Tibet, Larry goes to Scotland. He finds out that on this day in 1987, Andy Murray, a Scottish tennis player who was one of the sport's best in the 2010s, earning three Grand Slam titles and two men's singles Olympic gold medals was born in Glasgow, Scotland.
From Scotland, Larry goes to Australia. He finds out that on this day in 1978, Sir Robert Menzies, a statesman who, as Australia's Prime Minister (1939-41, 1949-66), enhanced military connections with the United States while also encouraging industrial growth and European immigration, died in Melbourne.
Finally, Larry rounds off his look at today in #history from the USA. He finds out that on this day in 1972, Alabama Governor George Wallace was shot and permanently paralysed below the waist during an assassination attempt while campaigning for the Democratic presidential nomination.
Having seen all these pieces of historical events, Larry zooms off to begin his daily deliveries.

Larry the postman as usual went about his duties delivering mails and am sure you know you can also get paid for just finding him. On my path, I hunted and found Larry in two places, that is, at Listnerds, and CTPX!
