Hello everyone and warm welcome to my Larry hunt for friday, the 26th day of April, 2024. Manchester City came to within one point of Premier League leaders Arsenal with a game in hand after defeating Brighton at the Amex Stadium.
Larry then veers off to have a look at today in #history.
Larry begins his look at today in history from Ukraine. He finds out that onhh this day in 1986, a horrific environmental catastrophe occurred early this morning in 1986, when an explosion and fire at Ukraine's Chernobyl nuclear power station spilled massive volumes of radioactive waste into the atmosphere.
From Ukraine, Larry goes to the USA. He finds out that on this day in 2018, Bill Cosby, an American comedian and actor, was found guilty of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman and sentenced to 3 to 10 years in jail, but his conviction was reversed in 2021.
From the USA, Larry goes to Tanzania. He finds out that on this day in 1964, the United Republic of Tanzania was formed by the union of Tanganyika and Zanzibar, and Julius Nyerere became its first president.
From Tanzania, Larry goes to Germany . He finds out that on this day in 1933, Hermann Göring established the Gestapo, Nazi Germany's political police force that brutally exterminated resistance and was involved in the arrest of Jews throughout Europe for transportation to extermination camps.
From Germany, Larry goes to China. He finds out that on this day in 1963, Jet Li, a Chinese film actor known for his exceptional martial arts abilities and portrayals of noble, humble heroes, was born in Beijing, China.
Finally, Larry rounds off his look at today in #history from England. He finds out that on this day in 1932, Michael Smith, a British-born Canadian biochemist, who won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry with Kary B. Mullis in 1993 for developing oligonucleotide-based site-directed mutagenesis was born in Blackpool, England.
Having seen all these pieces of historical events, Larry zooms off to begin his daily deliveries.
Let's now move over to the hunt for Larry...
Larry the postman as usual went about his duties delivering mails and am sure you know you can also get paid for just finding him. On my path, I hunted and found Larry in two places, that is, at Listnerds and CTPX!
With my hunt at Listnerds, I read over ten mails to complete the minimum requirements for the task. Here is my proof
For my hunt for Larry at Leadsleap, I did not hunt Larry the postman here today but I'll do so by tomorrow hopefully.
I hunted Larry in CTPX by xploring the number of sites to qualify for the draws and complete the task.
