Hi everyone am so happy to be in this community
My name is Nguzoro Amarachi, and I am from Imo state in Nigeria. But currently i live in Lagos state. I studied Biochemistry Technology in science laboratory in University of Port Harcourt, I have build a strong stronghold in the field of sciences and technology that brought my love for discovery.
Though life has not been on the bed of roses, i grew up in a family of five as the first daughter. Most of my life growing up has been in the eastern part of Nigeria. God bless my mother and keep her healthy to reap the fruit of her labour, throughout her service year as a civil servant, she had use her salary to train and take care of us from primary to university level. She never used her salary for luxurious living like some mothers would do, Infact she is my role model.
During the holidays in my university days i will come back home to do some manual work and some businesses to save up money for food stuffs and handouts for school.
Through out my life, I have been shaped by the lessons I have learned from family, education and personal experience.
I was raised in a family where values like honesty, respect and hard work were emphasized. My parents have always encouraged me to pursue my interest and dream.
For instance, when I was struggling with academic challenges in the university, my parents were there to guide me through, teaching me that setback are only opportunities for growth
After I was done with my undergraduate studies, I went for service to serve my country as a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Ekiti State, Nigeria. During the time I was serving i actively engaged in election work and I was giving the privilege to act as a Presiding Officer in election in a community at my primary place of assignment.
My NYSC experience was enriching, i engage in community service development and some task which I was able to accomplish and it also taught me important skills in leadership, teamwork, and adaptability.
After my service year, i relocated to Lagos state in search for a greener pasture through the help of sister. I further explored my interest for healthcare as a pharmacist assistant by obtaining work experience in a hospital, during the covid pandemic. I later quit the job due to the distance and waking up by 4am and coming back home at 6pm everyday. So after some time i got another job aslo as pharmacist assistant in a pharmacy setting.
This work has helps me to obtain more experience and deepened my understanding in the field and reinforced my commitment to making a positive impact on people and saving life. Though I have always loved to work in a pharmaceutical setting
In my spare time, I love reading, watching movies, exploring with new recipes in the kitchen, and traveling to new places. I am a devoted believer in the benefits of self-care and making time for the things that bring joy and fulfillment. As a married woman, I'm grateful to God for the love and support of my family and friends.
Currently, I've taken the right step in my personal and professional growth by joining the Hive community, which was introduced to me by my lovely sister @sarahbaby, @ozibaby that guided me on the journey and my wonderful and understanding mentor and my boarder on this hive @beauty197, they have been good to me.
I have learnt how to open hive in ecency, set my profile and learn how to earn and shop using my HBD. I shop with my HBD at bokku mart and I was able to get 20% discount on each shopping.
I'm grateful for been a member in this platform, and also am ready to learn and be corrected, contribute, explore more with hard work and consistency, also create original content, engage in new ideas and make new friends as i grow alongside with like-minded individuals in this hive community.
