Report of our first mega spendhbd workshop "Delta-Squad" // 166.66 hbd spent

We are glad to share with you the report of our first mega spendhbd workshop here in Delta State Nigeria.

On June 3rd, We made a blog Invitation To Our First Mega Spendhbd Workshop In Asaba Delta State, Nigeria. which we have been planing for a very long period of time.

On the 5th day of June, we made a blog Preparing for our up coming workshop..

On Friday which was 6th June, chydolar1 left Uyo to our city because she was our guest speaker for the day. It took her about 9 hours from her state to Asaba Delta State Nigeria.
Upon her arrival, a few hours later, we took her to her hotel room were she tested for the night.

Very early on Saturday morning, @sveesmedia called that he is on his way to our city which is about 2 hours journey from our city were we hosted the event.

Upon his arrival, @calebmarvel24 was already in the venue make other arrangements and as you can see in our previous blog, you will see the video clip during that section.

Time for the workshop

We waiting a little for more persons to come before kicking off the workshop.
It all started with prayers and I brief charge by Brother Emmanuel.

We didn't intend taking much time on the workshop section, so the next person to mount on stage was chydolar1 who talked about hive.io and how to earn with just your smart phone.

She talked about different sections of the hive Blockchain and ways you can earn easily. She also talked about staking your hive, growing it to the point were your voting mana can get you something cool as curators rewards.

She also talked about participating on different communities activities, engaging and consistency which is the key to successful life on the Blockchain.

@calebmarvel24 talked about spendtoearn which is the spendhbd system sponsored by @thedistriator, he broke it down to the cashback section were he made everyone to understand that no matter how much you spend, will will always have a cashback not minding the percentage.

He explained the advantages of businesses when they accepted HBD as a payment method, and also explanation the importance of saving your HBD.

He called this section digital osusu

He said that you can decide to be saving all the cashback you get from your spending and at the end of the year, it may surprise you that distriator has help you to save huge amount of money through your spending.

He made mention of the @ezabay platform were you can use your local currency to buy HBD and spend it on any listed business, he also said that the business can sell their HBD for NAIRA in other to go and restock their shop.

The third speaker was @sveesmedia who emphasized more on the Ezabay section And how those persons who run the POS service can be exchanging all kinds of currency for naira and buy other currency with the Ezabay as time goes on.

It was an interesting section and we appreciate everyone who were present and those who watched it from the live section on YouTube.

Little challenges

The major challenge we had was the numbers of persons that came for the workshop although it the first time of hosting such workshop in my state and most person's are scared of online stuffs.

But in all, we thank God that with was successful and we appreciate appreciate @sveesmedia for streaming it live for everyone to watch it.

Finance

In organizing this workshop, we spent up to N262,000 (166.66 HBD).

Breakdown

Little pay for the streaming service and other media stuffs N120,000 (77.644)
T-shirt, banner and hand bills = N80,300 (51.581 HBD)
Transportation, hotel bills and care for our guests speaker = N52,000 (33.402 HBD)
Fuel for powering the plant we use for the event = N10,000 (6.423 HBD)

Total = N262,000 (166.66 HBD) excluding other minor running which we lend 20 HBD from Eastern Beauty to support the activities.

Looking at this event, we planned it in a big way but didn't get up to our expectations, but we know that very soon we are going to see more positive results even as people will get to know about the system more better.

We are looking at the future (long term) because we know that greater and more better things are coming to the hive Blockchain through this project.
