Send any amount of HBD and get a joke
This is an initiative to have a bit more laughter and joy in our lives, and at the same time to popularize the use of our native stablecoin - the Hive-Backed Dollar (HBD).
We have a wonderful thing - an independent, decentralized stablecoin. Do you know that you can use it to purchase things? Well, now there is one more use for HBD - to make yourself laugh.
How it works
- Send any amount of HBD (even 0.001 HBD) to @jokes-on-you
- You will receive a transfer back with a joke (encrypted so only you can read it)
- Use Hive Keychain on your preferred frontend or on Hive Memo Decryption to decrypt and read the joke
If you don't have HBD, you can also send any amount of HIVE. But we encourage you to use the internal market to change your HIVE to HBD so you get some experience with that if you don't have already.
Micropayments
This also showcases another feature we have on Hive - no transaction fees. It makes payments of any amounts very possible and easy - even fractions of a penny.
