Hello hivers, i was onboarded to hive by @happiahjoseph. I am Rita Joseph, fondly known as Mama Rii a nickname i got during my I.T days from one of my colleague as a result of my dedication and perservance in a fully blown food dominated organisation.
Now this is just where my story begins...
I am a Nigerian who hails from the southern part of this side, Akwa ibom state and being one isnt easy. Its as tough as going uphill in the snow. Fully studied and graduated from the department of Food Science and technology, a 5 year course that later turned seven (7) due to numerous strikes, pandemic and the likes.
This i did with passion because i intended saving lives in a different way by ascertaining the different causes of food borne diseases, how to curb them, healthy diet plan especially for people suffering from one gestational illness to the other and making sure food consumed are produced in the most healthiest way possible yet acceptable and having to pass through the necessary standards and measures.
So while you may think i followed the multitude, mine was soley passion driven. Little wonder why i had a thing for food related subjects while in secondary school.
Away from the course i studied, i ended up delving into solar gadgets and accessories. I am a critical thinker and problem solver. In a quest to solve the unending problems of black out, insecurities, interrupted power supply, power failure and even the hike recorded in mortality (deaths) in hospitals as a results of no lights and power supply for functional surgical operation i fully ventured into this line of business introduced by a friend.
Little wonder it came as a surprise to many especially as it is a known male domineering field. But as a goal getter, i was set to make a name for my brand hence the brand name "Ideal solar gadget & accessories". We not only help you stay up to date with the latest trend and evolution but you can never miss out of deadline as a result of no power. We are here to keep you fully lighted for both personal and commercial use.
Adding to this, i had to put also a side gig to my hustle. Something that can come in handy, something that fuels enthusiasm hence i learnt and mastered the act of social media management. Of course at this point you can call me a "Jack of all trades and skills and master of them all". But then what did you expect of the oldest child and first daughter? Everyone looks up to you...including your younger ones.
To make things more easier and pronounced for myself i had to set up a niche. So i narrowing focused my skills into offering services as content writer, page revamper, social media manager/handler, sponsored ads guru, seasoned graphic designer, mini website guru, google my business personnel and a virtual assistant.
As seen below are just a few of the many works i have done for clients and the satisfying reviews and testimonials to back up my claims.
I am a jolly good fellow and just during my leisure time i would be seen in my little corner reading educative and inspirational books. I love to connect and follow people that adds value to my life. I love watching movies a whole lot.
I am a church girl and my friends will teasingly call me "Jesus baby". A staunch Catholic and i love attending sunday masses whilst also dedicating my convenient time to communicating with my creator.
I got to know about the hive block chain from my sister and being a social media handler and a good content writer was so fascinated and decided to attend a meeting anchored by @ijelady. This meeting was hosted to learn more about hive block chain.
The meeting widened my horizon and i learnt about the distrator app, spend HBD platform and i will say i was quite thrilled ny the whole experience.
I look forward to bringing my stories, experiences and above all my prowess in creative content writing to hive. I hope to learn and earn from here too.
