My preparations for my first workshop, onboarded customers for dikkies Supermarket and signed up a newbie

As a trusted local guide in my city, I have seen it as my priority to reach out to many people with this spendhbd project because there is need for thousands of businesses to be listed and for many shoppers to join too because if we should keep on listing businesses without onboarding customers for them, it's worthless.

With this in mind, I decided to host a workshop at one of the listed businesses in my city. To achieve my aim, I sent @fokusnow some hbd to process personal fliers for me. The need for the fliers is to create awareness and to serve as an easy way of inviting customers to patronize this business.

So today, I went to his office to collect the fliers. There, I met @bakinba and we decided to check on a business (restaurant) suggested by @bakinba. The 3 of us walked down to the restaurant but was disappointed yet not discouraged because the manager was not around but we were asked to come back next time and we also dropped our number according to their request.

Seeing that we didn't achieve anything there, I boarded tricycle to Dikkies Supermarket known as @dikkiesstore. But on my way, I branched at Say Yes Supermarket because @samueluche07 suggested that I list the big supermarket because it's so big and they too sales cheaper. On reaching there, I met the manager and told him my mission. He was so happy and interested to be part of this project but because of the festive season at hand, he was excessively busy attending to customers. Therefore, we booked an appointment.

Is it time to give-up? not at all because I need to achieve something meaningful before retiring for the day. So I commenced with my journey down to Dikkies Supermarket where I shared the fliers with their customers and also invites them to the forthcoming workshop that will hold inside dikkies restaurant on Friday the 27th day of December 2024 by 11:00am prompt.

While sharing the fliers, @st-grey whom I have already booked appointment with to set up his account came around and we sat down outside the supermarket to set it up. I signed up his account few weeks ago but because of his tight schedule, I wasn't able to set it up that same day. But ever since then, his busy schedule haven't offer him the opportunity for us to meet again.

So, After setting it up, I helped him to purchase hbd to make his first transaction as you can see from the image below.

But unfortunately, after making his payment, he wasn't able to claim from distriator tho it's not the fault of the App rather it's from his phone because the phone was overheating and as a result, he couldn't take pictures from distriator.

Next, I continued with my target of inviting customers to the workshop. People were so so excited to be part of the project but the only issue or stumbling block is that many will travel before that day (Friday). Nevertheless, it must surely hold.

The outcome

While doing my work, I walked up to a customer, showed her the flier and she accepted to be registered immediately. Why? according to her, she wants to testify to it's reality. Therefore, using distriator sign up page, I registered her tho it costs me 3 hive, it worths it. After processing her registration, I set up her wallet, account and her ecency and keychain profiles. Also, I helped to purchase hbd for her and below depicts it.

Her username is @norah801. After claiming her discount from distriator, she was like, so this is real?, hope its a continuous project? Ahh, little did I know that people were observing what was happening. So when she left,(because of her over excitement and joy, i forgot to take pictures with her. Nevertheless, you can as well check her profile to see her lovely face.) people walked up to me and started demanding to know how and what is needed to join the queue and I used the opportunity inviting them to the seminar (workshop).

My plan/Conclusion

I left the supermarket by 8:30pm but my plan is to arrive at the supermarket as early as 8:30am with @michael700 to get the place well arranged. Hoping to get better turnup.

At this juncture, am extending the invitation to you all my fellow hivers and shoppers to attend the program as well. Let's rock dikkies supermarket. Remember, together we can change the world. Aba and Nigeria at large must hear, know and support this project. Its my priority and the journey of a hundred miles and thousand steps must surely start with a single step and move.
