A Divine Shopping Experience: Spending HBD at God's Own Store in ABA
My adventures in the bustling city of Aba with my friend are slowly coming to an end. What better way to end this experience other than the Hive way? This fateful Monday morning started early for me and my friend, and it was already packed with activities and saying goodbye to our loved ones. The plan was to leave immediately for another town first thing that morning, but we remembered an outstanding promise by our mentor to take my friend shopping (feel free to call me the plus one).
Instead of the initial plan, we decided to spend some more time in Aba (I'm sure you've ever been or lived in Aba, you can relate to the attachment). Our journey began at our mentor's office. When we arrived, his hands were full, but he still welcomed us warmly (as he always does), offered us a seat, and proceeded to round up what he was doing. While we, on the other hand, kept ourselves busy with writing my introduction post.
A couple of minutes later, he had guests: a man and a woman. The former was a newbie who wanted to get more information about the Hive platform, and the latter was already a member of this community and had introduced the man to the platform after she saw him purchase goods without any discount. The style of his questions and his aura exposed him to be a lawyer, which I already guessed in my head before formal introductions were made.
After many questions and patient answers later, he was convinced and even registered on the spot!!! To make the experience more practical, our mentor decided to invite them to our shopping experience. The distance from the office to the supermarket was walking distance, so we used our legs (served as a mini-tour of the city). We got to the store eventually and immediately dived into a photo session (as usual), and took a lot of photos (I need to start getting used to this).
