Hello, I am Ngozi, and I am using this medium to apply for the onboarder role. I believe that my experience on Hive has prepared me to guide new users with confidence and clarity.

Being active on the platform for about 3 years has given me a solid understanding of how things work, what new users usually struggle with, and the kind of support they need. When I talk about hive, I speak from a place of experience.
Beyond personal experience, I have also received training from @fokusnow, one of the most trusted local guides in my city. Working and learning directly from someone with that level of experience has helped me understand the kind of professionalism expected from someone who takes on the role.
In addition to being mentored by @fokusnow, I have been working with the Hive Training Hub in Aba for a long time. Working at the hub has honestly been one of the most significant experiences that has shaped me. It is not just about knowing about Hive anymore, it is about interacting with people about Hive, dealing with real questions and confusion daily.
The hub is a place where all kinds of people walk in. Students who are unfamiliar with web3, businesses seeking to understand how Hive can benefit their operations, and even individuals who are scared of anything crypto because they think it is a Ponzi scheme.
What makes the experience even better is that we have organized numerous training sessions and meetups at the hub, with different sessions, various topics, and new participants each time. Every meetup and training comes with something new.

I have attended many of these trainings myself, and each one has added something new to my understanding of Hive. Sometimes I discover a new feature that I had never noticed before. Sometimes I pick up a better way of explaining things, especially when I watch how other trainers break down complicated topics into simple, friendly steps. At other times, I learn from the participants themselves, their questions, their confusion, their excitement, and even their challenges. You start seeing Hive from different angles when you hear how people interpret it, what they struggle with, and what actually makes sense to them.
Being actively involved in these sessions has made me more confident in handling various kinds of situations. I have gotten used to people asking unexpected questions, or someone wanting you to repeat a process three times, or someone who needs reassurance that they’re getting it right.
Lastly, my role as a salesperson at Happy Customer Supermarket, a Hive-listed supermarket, has really added to my credibility because I actually use the Hive platform for transactions every single day. It is not just something I talk about online, it is part of my daily routine. Customers come in, make their purchases, and settle their payments through Hive, and I get to see their reactions firsthand.
Being in that kind of environment makes it so much easier for me to explain Hive to new users as I am speaking from real, practical experience. I can confidently walk someone through how transactions work, why they are fast, and how simple the whole process is, not from theory, but from what I do at work every day.
Putting all these together, I believe I am someone who can be trusted with the role of an onboarder. I have the experience, training, practical exposure, and everyday interaction with Hive’s real-world use cases. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy helping people learn, grow, and feel comfortable in a new environment. And I am ready to bring that same energy to onboarding on Hive.
