Hello Hive! — I’m Anozie Precious, Excited to Be Here
Hello wonderful people of Hive!
It’s such a great feeling to finally join this amazing community where people from different parts of the world share their thoughts, talents, and experiences. My name is Anozie Precious, and I’m originally from Abia state, married to an Imo State man all in Nigeria, though I currently live in Lagos. I’m happy to introduce myself and tell you a bit about my journey, passions, and what brought me to Hive.
My Journey So Far
I am a professional hairdresser, and I must say that working in the beauty industry has taught me more than just how to style hair — it has shown me how to connect with people. Every client who sits in my chair comes with their own story, and while I work on their hair, I also get to listen, share, and sometimes even encourage. I’ve learned that beauty is not only about how we look on the outside but also about how we feel inside.
Over the years, I’ve developed a deep love for helping people look and feel their best. Whether it’s creating a new hairstyle, recommending good hair products, or simply having a friendly chat in the salon, I always try to make people smile before they leave. It gives me joy to know that I can brighten someone’s day with something as simple as a hairstyle or a kind word.
Living and working in Lagos has also shaped me in many ways. It’s a busy city, full of life and energy, and being here has taught me patience, creativity, and hard work. Every day is an opportunity to meet new people, learn new things, and improve myself.
My Educational Journey
Before stepping fully into the beauty and wellness world, I pursued a degree in Microbiology at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. Studying science gave me a strong foundation in observation, patience, and problem-solving.
Even though my current career is in hairdressing, my education played a major role in shaping who I am today. It taught me how to think critically, stay disciplined, and believe in myself. Most importantly, it helped me become more confident — a quality that has guided me in both business and life.
My time at the university was full of challenges and growth. It opened my eyes to how vast the world of learning is, and it built in me a curiosity that still drives me today. I believe that education, in whatever form, empowers us to see life differently and prepares us to impact others positively.
My Passions: Beauty, Health, and Bible Truths
Apart from my profession, I have strong passions for beauty, health, and Bible truths. I believe these three are closely connected. When we care for our health, we glow naturally; when we live by Bible truths, we find peace and direction; and when we appreciate beauty — in ourselves and in others — we build confidence and kindness.
I enjoy reading materials that improve my knowledge in these areas. I love learning about natural hair care, skin routines, and how to maintain good health through proper rest, nutrition, and mindset. But above all, I find true strength and balance in the Bible’s teachings. They remind me to be humble, honest, and kind — values I try to show in my daily life and work.
My Goals on Hive
I joined Hive because I want to learn, share my experiences, build meaningful connections, and earn through creativity. I love how Hive is not just a platform for posting content, but also a community where people support one another. It’s inspiring to see so many individuals expressing themselves freely — through writing, art, photography, and discussions — while also growing personally and financially.
Through Hive, I hope to:
Share stories and tips about haircare, beauty, and self-care.
Write about healthy living and simple ways to improve everyday life.
Discuss Bible-based truths that offer comfort and guidance in today’s busy world.
Connect with people from different cultures and learn from their experiences.
Grow my writing skills and confidence as a creator.
I believe everyone has something valuable to offer, and I’m excited to contribute my part — even if it’s through small, thoughtful posts that can brighten someone’s day.
Who I Am Outside Work
When I’m not in the salon or learning something new, I enjoy shopping, reading, and spending time with my family. Family means so much to me — it’s where love, support, and strength begin. I value relationships built on honesty and trustworthiness, and I try to live by those principles every day.
I also love peaceful moments — like relaxing after a long day, reading a motivational book, or listening to songs that lift my spirit. I believe life becomes more beautiful when we slow down to appreciate the little things around us — the laughter of loved ones, the calmness after a long week, or even the smile of a satisfied client.

Before joining Hive, I took some time to explore what the platform is all about, and I was truly impressed. It’s rare to find such a supportive environment online. People don’t just post; they interact, encourage, and genuinely care about each other’s growth. That’s the kind of community I want to be part of.
