pro video people will probably hate it :) but for these simple edits i started using CapCut (on pc, i can't edit on mobile even if my life depended on it). It is pretty easy to use, and it does the job for these kind of shorts.
i used adobe premier a lot, a bit of DaVinci Resolve. both need more time to learn but also give more options. Davinci is also free for 90% of things you would need. It is also great for color grading, but i suck at color grading so i don't stress about it :)
So for quick edits i would say CapCut and if you want to get serious about it, Davinci, because Adobe sucks more and more.
Also CapCut has its own encoder (codec) so i noticed 3Speak has problems with encoding it. So i just reencode the final video with HandBrake. It also makes the file smaller so it helps my slow internet connection :)

Thanks. I am still not used to film vertical (portrait) videos so it was a bit of improvisation. I am pretty happy with the end result :)
