conditions in the province of Aceh

This morning, when I went to Banda Aceh Darussalam, the living conditions of the residents were truly unbearable. The road from Medan to Banda Aceh was badly damaged, forcing people to cross by fishing boat to continue their journey to Banda Aceh. Some of my relatives, I live in the Lhokseumawe area, where we live, can carry out their activities as usual, but for now, we may still have plenty of food supplies in the Lhokseumawe area.

However, in other flooded cities, the Indonesian government has not yet evacuated them due to the damaged roads, making it difficult for government aid to reach them via public transportation. Due to the severely damaged roads in areas like Aceh Singkil and Aceh Tamiang, the government should have sent some aid, but currently, all of Aceh, Java, is submerged in water, making it very difficult to get aid quickly.

However, we appealed for aid from several other countries, such as Malaysia, which arrived in Banda Aceh a few days ago, but there has been no aid from the Indonesian government. It's truly sad, as Malaysia should have been the first to send aid. Malaysia's concern for our country in Aceh is very strong... Greetings to Malaysia for providing social assistance funds to our country in Aceh... Photo taken in Blang, North Aceh.
