That's right, I am complete and ready now!
This is just a little "explaining" disclaimer, in case some didn't catch why I did it...
My main aim on the 🎉 HiveFest × Splinterlands Ticket Giveaway: Win 2 Full Passes to Kuala Lumpur! participation was to provoke some interest in others to participate too, share and make it known for web2 people. Hope that kind of worked... to some extent.
There was another go "possible" on the CREATIVE “WIN” HOUR 🏆 : WIN 2 FREE HIVEFEST WEEK PASSES giveaway, but given I spent the weekend doing family stuff, I didn't quite manage to help on that one. I did share that one yesterday when I arrived home, but probably too late.
Anyhow, did what I could, guys. If everyone helps, the word gets out there quicker.
Either way, I was always going to buy my @hivefest ticket anyhow (you might have seen this preparation in terms of liquid HIVE in my account, that was the catch LOL)... so, here it is!
Things I wish to have finished before going to HiveFest?
Not everything is achieved, no... unfortunately I am behind a couple of things I wish I had more time to finish... the Haf node is HALF way (I know pulling the docker one is very easy and quick, but I am deliberaly not going that way to touch all the details of the infrastructure along the way and do them the way I like), and it was one of the things I wanted to finish before #HiveFest2025, but will likely not be a reality yet.
Just did not have enough energy, too many distractions and too much work to wrap up from this year's new machine.
The idea is, now that I am wrapping up and ramping down a huge backlog of IRLW, after HiveFest, I should be expecting the HardFork to eventually come, which is a good combination of time to spend finishing my Hive node thing. I haven't given up, I will still bring my full Hive node publicly from NZ.
Family is important!
Both the ones you support at home and the ones you meet around the world. Supporting them has a great priority if I have to choose between posting and helping someone on Hive.
And balancing that energy is quite hard sometimes. But it's a necessary evil, I would say.
Even when doing family balancing stuff at home is a fricking mess...
Either way, just had to slow down a bit and make some due stuff happen, hence time ran like a "bit*h", but it was fricking worth it (always is). And today I am back for another work week of preparing for being away the week after :D
That's my oldest, and me (taking the picture) from the top of the mountain yesterday. Nuts view!
After a recharging moment, I kind of settle for a moment of reflection. Time is never enough, and one can do so much. But if it's worth it, then you are already 70% there. And the rest can come slowly with planning and a bit of coordination.
Sorry, didn't mean to bring the reflection here. 🤦♂️
Eager to meet you all, new #Hivians!
I will try to post some moments as I go and enjoy @hivefest, but the priority, as usual, is to enjoy the moment, ALWAYS FIRST!
Note: My @forykw account has now undelegated all the possible HP, and in 4 days it's going to be finnally 99% powered with that amazing +100k HP! So I can curate with all I have, and enjoy this experience as I think everyone should always try.
well done and enjoy it
One day it will be in AUS, and I have no excuse NOT to go!
I wish you much success 😁
I hope you tell us all about the Hivefest.
Keep checking the hive fest community. Lots of posts will show there.
Have a great time!
💪 I will.
Have fun. I wish I was going, but will have to skip this one.
Hopefully I will catch you on the next one!
Enjoy HiveFest! 🍻
Family should always be in the first place, so you did well to take a break from other online stuff... Btw. Already snow in October?? I know you are "upside-down", but still... 😃
It the other way around, "still snow in October?"
This was probably the last newest snow... this week is still good-ish, but getting cold at night and snowing is getting harder from this point (if any), so they will have a hard time maintaining the tracks for more than 2-4 weeks time.
