Time flies innit?

It’s exactly a week since the closing dinner and drinks of Hivefest10 but only today I am able to look back into it and write up my experience. The dinner was located at Bijan Restaurant which was serving malay cuisine. Before the dinner, I was out and about with my friend and Walter. We went to Ikea Cheras and saw some local festivities on Halloween and obviously got some coffee.

I swear without coffee, I don’t think I’ll make it through 😂 and before everything, I made sure to have coffee first. That's how I survived Hivefest 😆

Then it was dinner time when I was seated with the ladies and saw some familiar looking appetizers and main course.

I’ve got to thank @chocolatescorpi for offering the wine. It was the main highlight for me 😉from the dinner other than the dessert.

The speeches from @roeland and @arcange were very memorable and moving. Thank you so much for organizing such a memorable event and picking out the venue.Time flies and suddenly, it was already closing for dinner. It’s definitely hard to move on from this awesome experience and meeting with everyone.

There were many stories and laughter shared. Once again, I am very grateful to have been a part of this awesome experience. Hopefully, I can go to the next one again😊

During the closing drinks, I was looking for @ninaeatshere. I wanted to try the rum she brought and some other liquor 😂. That day I drank quite a bit and stopped counting after the 3rd one. I told Nina, I have to maximize my drinking experience. So, there I was, drinking quite a bit and wasn’t sure if I was sober or not. I kept insisting I was but maybe I wasn’t. Thank you Nina for the drink and next time we meet, the coffee will definitely be on me!

A very beautiful gift!

During the closing drinks, I finally got to listen to the process behind this awesome mug given to me by @dobranoc and @gtg. This is such a delicate mug and I am sooo grateful for this very thoughtful gift 😀(trust me, I had to very carefully fit this thing into my 30l backpack) and carefully not to throw my backpack away 🤣 out of habit.

Fun story, before this when I was staying at my friend's place, Walter and my friend heard a loud shatter like sound. My heard sank and I was afraid this mug would be broken but thankfully, It wasn't. Then I had to carefully pack my bag again to make sure that they will be safe and secure until I land😄

Once again, thank you so much and this very thoughtful gift as a coffee addict haha 😊

After staying a bit for more drinks, I finally bid goodbye to everyone in the place. It was such a difficult thing for me because I really had a great time. It was great to finally meet everyone that I only get to read and know from their Hive account. As much as I managed to talk to a lot of people, I am sure there are still some that I haven’t had the chance to say HI. That just made me want to get the chance to visit the next one and share more laughter and stories.

Oh and I finally took a picture with @cryptospa and this remained to be one of my favorite pictures too 😀

And before leaving, I got to take pictures with Walter @walterjay [don't want to excessively tag you but 😂 it is what it is]and have them printed. So thank you @louis88, now I have something to memorize this awesome night forever! (with @lordbutterfly photobombing in the background)

One last picture is with the people I spent a lot of time with during hivefest, @akumagai, @aswita, @viviehardika too. I hope to see you all whenever we have the chance to. Last but not least, I don’t think I have some pictures with people like @akipponn and @forkyishere. That just mean, I could always go again for the next hivefest and catch more pictures 😄and stories especially with @phattaragon too!

credit to cryptospa !

See you all again, somewhere along the way!

The thing I regret about this event is that it felt like it went by so quickly. It should have lasted maybe two weeks hahaha

That's what I thought too, maybe 9 days or something 🤣

I was even thinking it should last for a month too. LOL

It was fun for sure! I wanted to attend when heard about it but then can't.

Two reasons, can't leave my Son and second no enough budget 🤣.

Thus happy to see @akumagai was there!

So glad that I met him cause he's really fun to be around 😄 have you also met him IRL?

Oh he is and we meet twice already 🙂.
He was someone easy to get along

That's true! very easy going too. Would love to meet him again when I am traveling to PH one of these days.

Oh too bad I can't travel if ever you're visiting PH! 🥹

Thanks ladies.

I'm glad you two had fun meeting me IRL both of you are also fun to be with.

Thanks for uploading these beautiful pictures! It was nice to meet you. See you next time!

Congratulations on your warm coverage on this blog! Your writing created a warm and welcoming atmosphere at the end of the event. May this story unite the community and open up many more inspiring stories to come.

Have a wonderful day...

I read you and feel like you were the Queen of HiveFest! ❤️ It's truly inspiring how you express each moment and each person. That's what life is all about, my friend, enjoying every moment with great passion, and that feeling attracts more of it. I'm toasting to more meetups and the chance to be there. I hope I can participate myself sometime...

Hey!, yes, coffee makes us endure everything! I was able to walk almost all of Rome a week ago thanks to coffee 😅

Hi, @macchiata

Thank you for sharing such a lovely anecdote about the HiveFest closing dinner. I was really intrigued by the rum drink. The one shown in the image on the right is produced in my country: Ron Santa Teresa 1796. I was fortunate enough to visit their plant a while back, and it's fantastic that behind their production is a rescue program for wayward youth. Young people for whom private entrepreneurship offers the opportunity to escape the tentacles of crime and other vices. Look how far their products reach. It's not that I'm encouraging alcohol consumption. Of course, if drunk in moderation, it's not harmful. So I'm glad you enjoyed this exquisite Ron.

Greetings.
