Hey guys its Amari here! Im writing about my experience and thoughts on #hivefest in Split, Crotia
#Hivefest has been an amazing time and I have met really nice people who will always talk and have a nice conversation with you, I have never had a conversation with someone at hive fest who was grumpy or unfriendly at all! And I know that it doesnt seem like a big deal but for kids it really helps when adults will have real conversations with us because it makes us enjoy our time at these places more, because if no one had spoken to us we would have been sitting in the corner bored, but instead we where joining in with the coversations and having a good time.
On the first day of hivefest was a talking day and as interesting as it may be it was to hot to sit still all day!
So my mom, percy, dad and me went to the beach! The beach we swam at was literally just across the street from the conference musuem place, so we just popped over jumped in and went back!
We got back in time to get on the bus and go to dinner! And wow the dinner was delicious!!! Shout out to who ever had the idea to go there for dinner 🤤😋
Main meal
Every one of these meals was delicious! My favorite was the main meal! It would have been the dessert if I hadn’t been so stuffed by the time I got to it 🤣 I still ate it all though 🙈 my stomach the next day was for sure cursing at me 🥲
We had another day of talks in the museum where im not sure what happened to my brain but made me forget to take any photos other than one of an ant 🤦♀️
The day after my dad played poker in a billiards place where percy mom and me joined later and played some pool!
Then we had the one and only race car day!! The track was meant for go carting (I think) so for the race car it was a little tight on the corners but overall it was really fun! We had pizza during the race car day and it was one of the best pizzas I had ever had! Even though I am sort of getting sick of pizza! Since pizza is the best snack for a big group I had it when we would have dinner at my cousins in england and also had it during most of the hive fest days!
After that was the boat trip! And since it had been canceled on friday it was moved to sunday, as we where leaving the house my mom asked if I wanted a jacket or something and since I was already wearing a long sleeve shirt I thought I would be fine since I do well in the cold! But I guess I dont do well in wind cold only cold cold… At least my mom is a warm weather person so brought way to many jackets to keep warm, so I ended up using her extra jackets to stay warm! After a long boat ride of me trying to stay warm and find shelter from the wind, we arrived at the beach! The boat crew told us we had 45 minutes until food was ready so everyone went to the beach
And surprisingly the water was warm! A lot of people changed into swimwear and got in (including my dad and brother) I did change into my swimsuit and got up to my knees when I realised “wait whats gonna happen when we get out and the cold air freezes the water to our bodies and we have to endure a long boat ride shivering from HYPOTHERMIA!!! So I kept my swimsuit on since its a long sleeve one and it added to my warmth! As I was getting my extra layers on we heard the bell signaling that food was ready!
At lunch some people threw some bread into the water for the fish to eat, and a lot of fish came! A Whole school of small fish came and started eating the bread!
As we where arriving at the beach I got a quick picture of the crew making lunch which was chicken or fish and vegetables!
After lunch we went on a walk around the water, and found a pomegranate tree which we picked one from and ate as we were walking back to the boat, once the boat left we passed these beautiful cliffs
On the way back when we got close enough we saw the beautiful city of split from the ocean!
As we where saying our last good byes to everyone we met and hope to see them all next year! ❤️
After we left we where on our way back home and we saw a bunch of adorable little kittens with their parents ❤️💕 the kittens were all colors because a female cat can have kittens with mulitple male cats when she is in heat!
The kittens where very nervous and shy but they warmed up to us a little!
Well guys I just wanted to come on here and share my thoughts on hive fest and my experience as a kid!
Cant wait for next year lets hope we can all make it and have as good a time we all did this time! Me and percy will keep posting our crazy adventures with our family and hope everyone we met will check out our posts, untill we can all meet again at #hivefest next year and the year after that! Hey Amari, although we didn't get to speak as much as I would have liked (sorry there were too many people around) it was great having you and Percy around. It reminds us how nice it is to be young 😉

By the way, do you and Percy both plan to blog regularly now? If so, it might be a good idea to have your own account. Sharing accounts makes it difficult to build relationship because people don't know who they're talking to. Plus you both probably have different interests, you can each develop your blog in your own way
Yes I was just thinking that! I’m going to set up my own account and post on @thebombkids with my brother! As soon as my dad can help me set up a new account I’m going to make my own, thanks for the suggestion! ❤️

Yes! Hive has been very interesting for me and my brother! The fish and kitten are only one of my favorite things I have done since we came to hive fest! It was really nice meeting you😁❤️❤️❤️
