Thanks. It's interesting that I was the outlier and dreaded the year ahead of me until I turned 18. I think part of it was because as the only boy and with no man in the house, I had to take on outsized responsibilitites, and was raising kids when I was 10. So by the time I turned 17, I already felt "old".
My case was even different. I grew up in a home where I was the only boy. I had to ask for permission to leave the house. I would stay in meanwhile I wanted to go play football. This was one hell of a thing I wanted to grow to surpass. When I did, responsibilities caught up with me. All they say, It's all worth it.
