Tattoos are not for everyone and they are for life, so getting one in your teens or twenties might not be great, as you'll change what you're into and may later regret getting them.

Getting them when you're a bit older is much safer, as you most likely won't regret it, as you're mature enough to know what you really want and it's not going to change too much more than likely.

My wife got a butterfly one on her wrist in her late 30s and loves it.

I got mine in my early to mid twenties and like them all still.

Yes. It makes sense to get a tattoo when your thoughts are not as changeable as the weather. Honestly, I believe tattoos should be like scars, reminding you of the situations you went through and overcame, the reason you are still alive. But yes, if I were to get a tattoo, it would have to be small and in a discreet place. A hug and thanks for every Tuesday of music, my friend.
