RE: Horsing Around on my Wednesday Walk

in Silver Bloggers3 years ago

I walk the fields a lot to make sure there is nothing in there anyway. I'ts never a waste spending any time with the horses.

Fresh cuts are always the best. No plans yet, they just got taken the last storm. I have had a house that we used all fresh cut in the attic. They have to be dried for a while first. Someday, i would love to do a dining table! My dad madexa table from oak that was beautiful!

Hi Denise ☺️👋🏻

It’s great to be in nature and surrounded by animals. Wonderful… yes, never wasted time.

Yes, it does need to dry. I love working with wood and building furniture or making sculptures. It has been a while do.
Yes… large dining tables… with perfect wood, they can be a dream.

Have a wonderful day today @dswigle 👋🏻😊🥰🤗🤗

Never! You are right. They are always rewarding to the soul.

It takes a long while to dry, but, so worth it. Black Walnut makes beautiful boards. Cherry is my favorite in looks or Maple. But, walnuts have huge boards and beautiful patterns.

A large dining table with the outside bark remaining is kick butt beautiful!

Le sigh.

You will live close to New Hampshire and Maine. I know they have some pretty big mills up there, you may be able to find what you want!
