Thanks for the app recommendation. I'll give it a go if I keep seeing dead ends.
Cybersec is certainly a big industry, and it will only continue to grow, but I am not sure how "up to date" the TAFE courses would be on contemporary practice. I just remember doing my uni degree and remembering how out of date the software being taught was, to a point where it barely had any industry relevance.
A lot of them are with government departments, their turn around time is pretty slow. I got asked for a reference for a job with the Australian Bureau of Statistics, so I am hanging out, waiting for news of that one before I go on another flurry of applications.
Funny about recruitment agencies, I applied for a job at one, because I thought it would be interesting work - had an interview and got categorically rejected for being too far along in my career :P They wanted people with less experience and less ambition ;)
Personally, I’ve had to pivot into hospitality because that was where the work was.
The local hospitality companies have a monopoly on various locations.
I did a bit of cyber security at Uni but a recent certificate would look a lot better. My focus would be on using the course to create contacts within the industry and find out what’s available.
I recently did a mental first aid certificate. It’s 2 days and cost less than $25. Apparently a lot of government departments look favourably on them.
I think a lot of people oh HIVE could benefit from the mental health first aid. :p
I also forgot to mention Hive Engine in the blog post. I have over a thousand AU worth of SWAP.btc. I need to keep building it sporadically.
I have started investing in SWAP.eth because it’s a little more stable in price and has less environmental impact than most crypto.
Personally, I would look at reducing that amount. I know its decentralised, but the volume may be a problem once upon a future time if you want to withdraw or move i to other assets.
I’ve been dipping into it here and there when I have needed the HIVE. I could diversify a bit more.
I wouldn’t withdraw it all at once.
I don't know about needing to diversify away from BTC. The mathematics of it are inevitable.
Didn’t you say to look at reducing the amount I had invested?
I am not going to divest from BTC. It has massive growth potential. I am still going to be investing stray bits of Hive into it over time.
At the same time other things also have growth potential too.
Yes, most definitely.
