It's rough out here, even for those not also battling chronic illness. Many women seem to have a sense of entitlement. "Gold-diggers" used to be the term. Many also choose a dating life filled with promiscuity and pregnancy, which can signal to good men that there is no stability to be found with her. Then when she realizes her previous choices were counterproductive, she brings kids into the equation. It's not impossible to make that work, but it's not easy either.
