RE: The Silverbloggers Chronicles #39 | What subjects did I enjoy most in my youth?

Well, who doesn't use a calculator these days? I've even seen people pull out their phones to add 2 + 2. Ha ha ha. In fact, some people are doing word searches to prevent Alzheimer's. Last night, while writing this post, I had the idea to spend some free time solving the physics problems in my old book, which you can see in the thumbnail. You know, exercising my brain. Maybe I'll dust off my old calculus textbooks from college.

Good idea. My father-in-law used to do word searches when he wasn't reading El Nacional, and when he suffered a stroke, he quickly regained his speech; of course, he never lost his wit. Among his many stories after that incident, his first words were: Supreme Court of Justice, and when he went to collect his pension, he would skip the line claiming he'd had an ABC.

Yes, that's right, my friend. Keeping your wits about you is the goal, just like your father-in-law did despite adversity.
