Hello everyone, I'm @jedum, I'm happy to share my first time posting here, it's about my experience that I want to keep in this community.This is about my first time being a godparent at a wedding,and first time to reach Bohol.
This is our young Pastor's wedding. Pastor Wiljie, and it will be held there because his future wife Mariel is from Bohol, when they informed me that I would be one of the godparents at their wedding I accepted this because this was my first time being a godfather. I've attended many weddings but not as a godfather but as one of the singers, and they knew me as a singer at weddings.
And another reason I'm happy to accept this is, because Bohol is my grandfather's birthplace, I've longed to step foot on the land where my grandfather was born. I was looking forward to the day I would reach that place. And on April 28, 2025, we traveled to Bohol with the siblings and relatives of the groom. Because the wedding was on April 29, and thank God we arrived safely and for the first time I was able to reach my grandfather's hometown Bohol.
This time we got tickets for the boat we were going to take to Bohol, and after getting them, we immediately boarded the boat and took every seat on the ticket.
This is the place of Pastor Wiljie's wife. It is a very beautiful place because it is on the top of Mount Carmen in Bohol and the views are so impressive..
This is the church where the wedding will take place and you can see that we are ready at this time to celebrate the wedding, along with potential godparents like me.
This is where the wedding ceremony begins, and you can see that the people who attended are very excited, especially during the part where the groom kisses the bride.
