Every home has a junk drawer somewhere. A place to put an out of place thingomajing out of the why only to become part of a treasure trove interesting objects that may each have a story. I found such a place in my late Mom's place and it became an family's archeological site to me.
Btw, the 1955 25 Cent is 80% silver.

SO very TRUE .. Every home has that one drawer (or sometimes multiples!) where all the little odds and ends accumulate over time. It’s amazing how something as simple as a junk drawer can turn into a time capsule, holding forgotten treasures and stories. I love the idea of your late mom’s drawer becoming a family archaeological site (hahaha) But honestly.. what a meaningful way to connect with the past.
