I'm so sorry to hear that you also have diabetes @ladyfont, and I hope they can stop that happening to your other eye!
My hubby's been a type 1 diabetic from the age of 7, had his 8th birthday in hospital after he'd gone into a coma.
Fortunately he's kept well, except for a mild heart attack when they found 3 blockages, so they did a triple bypass. That was in 2002 & was very scary but thankfully he's been well since, except for the daily battle of highs and lows when he's not careful with his diet.
You're so right about sugar being addictive, that is my addiction for sure!

Hi Lizelle, now I am under control, but I have to keep checking my sight. Now I can not smell sugar I don't tolerate it. My heart and kidneys are working well but you need to be under control.
