Well, I did not time this read as it was way too interesting! I learned a whole lot here plus you made me dig inside a beautiful pewter bowl with a lid left by my late uncle. It was one of the items I left intact, didn't want to remove anything from it. It's filled with keys, trinkets and all kinds of coins.
I think it's an awesome idea to give that kind of gift!
Now you need to tell us about your Hive handle?
Thank you for your #bow entry!

That's funny that this post had you digging into some old stuff. We did the same thing when I was putting this post together. Jackie O Silver and I rummaged through a few boxes before finding what we were looking for. We had some old silverware tucked away that we found.
From here on in I've got to start writing down where I hide shit. 😁
The grandkids are starting to get the whole idea, but a little trinket along with the silver still puts a bigger grin on their face.
The story with my hive handle is in memory of my Dad. He loved his shortwave radios and CBs.
He had a home base station and a CB in his car. His handle was thebigsweed, sweed with two ee's. It's kind of neat because every time I see it, or read it, or use thebigsweed, I think of him.
He was a wonderful father and boy was he big, and a real gentleman.
Awe that's just awesome to hear that you're honouring your Dad like this with your Hive handle! Sounds like there are many stories to tell about him. We could possibly have a topic on memories (of our parents or grandparents), perhaps a Bring back the past, as this would be a great way to leave a legacy for our families.
@ericvancewalton started a wonderful #blockchainmemoryproject for these kind of memories.
Thank you for sharing this @thebigsweed
I like that idea, I'm sure everyone would have a great story that they would like to have of record.
Thanks for the info, I'll check it out.
Peace!
