I never learned how to play chess. In my school, there were no chess boards or chess instructors, nor in my family, if anything my dad might have taught me to play dominoes or truco. I would have liked to play chess and play a musical instrument, but it will have to be in the next life. Regards, friend.

Hi, @nancybriti1
I spent a good while in Cumaná, and I didn't learn to play truco either. Ha ha ha. I recently watched the Eternauta series (an Argentine production) and was incredibly surprised to see a scene where they played truco. Until then, I thought it was only played in eastern Venezuela. Of course, chess could be more universal, but each game has its own unique charm. I gather your father plays truco very well, like dominoes, where coordination with your partner is vital.
If you're determined to learn chess and a musical instrument, you won't have to wait for a new incarnation.
Greetings.
