Old Growth, New Growth

I weighed up whether or not to post this in HiveGarden or not, but decided that the content is more in line with Silver Bloggers.
I've stated in a previous post that I was only really new to gardening, it was something that I started doing on a whim.
6 weeks later, I have some very young tomato plants.
The stray thought that lead me to start growing tomatoes came deep from my subconscious.
Several months earlier, I had gone though a traumatic experience and I needed a small challenge that I could achieve, a personal victory to begin to break the brain fog, rebuild my self esteem and being to take my life back.
The image above is of a six week old tomato plant.
What makes it special to me is that I transferred this plant from it's inital pot and into a secondary pot.
I was worried it wouldn't survive the shock and it was touch and go for a few days. I'd used Seasol and fertilisers and just had to wait and see what happened.
You can see the older leaves are a darker green, the old growth and the newer leaves are a lighter green, the new growth.
There are even tiny little green leaves that I hadn't even noticed before typing this.
To me, the new leaves not only prove to me that the transplant to the new pot was a success, but that I am a successful person and no one can take that away from me.
It also symbolises new life. My new life.
I also need to be replanted, metaphorically, into a new plot and sprout new life while I discard aspect of my old life.
The seeds that were planted six weeks ago, no longer exist and the seedlings that emerged are almost too big for the second pot and I am responsible.
My own past no longer exists, has served it's purpose and can now be discarded in order for me to move on with my life.
Embracing New Growth
As I look around me, sitting in front of my computer, listening to YouTube videos while I tap away at my phone's keyboard, I can see the metaphorical "old growth" in the form of unnecessary paperwork that needed to be discarded long ago, things that collect dust and various other forms of clutter that no longer serve any purpose and need to be discarded.
It's just a matter of removing distractions and actually doing it.
It's time to embrace the new growth, new life and to breathe again.
I'll let you in on my progress as I go along.
Shaidon.

I look forward to hearing you grow and hope your tomato plants grows and throws you like you will too!
Thankyou. I will keep everyone informed as to my progress. Things are definitely looking up.
Ah I connected with this. We go through periodic phases of growth in our lives. I have gone through one recently too. I too look at the unnecessary clutter around me... in my house, in my life, and seek ways to reduce/remove the things that hold me back and retain and seek out those that drive me forward. You should be very proud of yourself... and I hope your tomato plant yields wonderful fruit in your future.
Thank you so much. Yes, I still have a lot of work to do but I know that I will get there. I know that some of it is blockage from my subconscious mind, but that takes time and effort to shift.
Absolutely, just recognising this, is half the battle won🙌 All the best.
Yes, you need to let go of the past and embrace new growth. Move on and grow,
There's a lot that we hang onto that is holding us back.
Small changes can make a big difference.
