Assembling the first bicycle 🚲

in Silver Bloggers5 months ago (edited)

Last Friday i orderd a bicycle for my grand daughter 2,5 years old already time flies.

Today i finally received it , apparently people don't work during the weekends and we also had May 5th liberationday that didn't help either .

But then it starts with the delivery people DHL in this case ... we will be there between 10:00 and 18:00 , great can't go anywhere until they arrive.

Then they send you an email we are almost there , between 11:50 and 12:50 , or not finally at 13:30 the fucker showed up .

So i quickly started to unpack things and everything seems all right .

Training wheels , it's the first bicycle after all don't want her to fall everytime.

small pedals with reflectors , not that she will ride the bycicle at night but it looks nice .

luggage carrier for the front , a girl needs to bring her dolls and teddy bear where ever she goes .

a splashback for the frontwheel

The front wheel with reflector

more reflectors one for the front and one for the back

and something that makes a lot of noise , a tinny bicycle bell

and something comfortable for the little princess to sit on

right o and the rest of the frame offcourse

So after 30 minutes and finding out ther was a part missing ... to hold the front splashback in place this is the result .

and another 30 minutes later the training wheels are on , and the front luggage carrier assembled in place. time to hide it all for tommorow to see how the little one will react .

she already has a matching helmet so she will be safe .

all images are created by me with my mobile phone .

have a good one

Aww this is soooo sweet, dear. I would love to see the look on your granddaughter's face when I see her tomorrow but that’s a family and intimate thing. I’m sure she will be very happy with her new bike and will ride proud of her grandpa. ❤️

Hope you get the missing part Mick.
Looks great though, so you are going to teach her to ride?

The missing part is already in the mail should arrive this week , teaching is already done with the sidewheels on .

Excellent, and now the perfect weather to get outside too!

Looks like it went together pretty well, hopefully there were good instructions in case you needed them.

luckely i do have expperience in building bikes together because the manual was not as good as the bike .

Very cool you managed to assemble your first bike
