Yes, they are vicious when provoked. Poe is wise to stay away. I've only ever had one cat who would stand up to them. My beloved farm cat, Tibbles.

Yes, thankfully, he did. To be fair, he only had to take on a loner, not as many as 8, lol 😆
Those mongoose are very scary, I used to think they look cute when they run in a row like that but after reading more about them, they certainly ain't cute!
I'm managing thanks @therneau, thankfully the bnb keeps me busy and the interaction with the guests helps a lot.
