I erred when posting my #featheredfriends post, my mind went elsewhere, my fingers took over and instead of the #featheredfriends community I posted on #gems. So not deterred but feeling a tad repetitious and apologising up front I am publishing my post again.
I had such a great time finding all the statues of birds sitting around the house I spent a couple of days in, that I really wanted to share the photos and my experience with fellow bird lovers. It did not matter where I looked in this cute little house, whether it was inside or outside I was always entertained with what I found. Looking on the outside one would never have expected such a wonderful collection of birds living inside this beautiful very old and well love home.
I spied many very cute little birds sitting in all kinds of spots on tables, on walls, on plants and outside on posts.
The birds were not all easy to see I must admit. It is only when I Looked up from the outside table that I spied this fat little bird sitting in a cage. It actually looked the real deal.
These very bright water coloured painting would have to be my favourite of big green parrots as I imagined the screeching noises they make in my garden at home. I almost expected them fly out of the painting.
I had the best time finding all the birds inside and outside this quaint homely home. While staying I did not hear any birds, maybe I was too busy inside with all the man made birds.

This little plump cream bird looked so much like a real contented in its cage outside and the midst of the trees. I wonder if the wild birds are ever inquisitive enough to come visiting to check it out? Probably not, I am sure birds are too smart to know the difference.

It's quite amazing when you look around, how many bird ornaments etc are in a home. Love the fat bird in the cage :D

That looks like your kind of place! I'm so glad you shared all these delightful little birds with us! I have a few sitting around my house, I should do a post about mine! This is a great idea.
Would love to see your birds that nestle on a little table and in corners. They all seem to fit in the right place in our homes. 🌸
