RE: A short road trip over the mountain.

What a sight, aren't they? My brother has 4 peacocks (he still calls them that and the female peahen) Must we be so e PC about everything? They have had that name forever, haven't they? I didn't know they flew until I saw them up above the two-story garage on a tree limb. They would actually sleep up there if my brother didn't put them in their house at night. Perhaps they felt safer? It was actually the most ridiculous sight I have ever seen. :) He also had an albino and as rare an event as that is, the colorful ones are much prettier to me.

The chicken crossing the road is rather regal, isn't he?

Sort:

Oh yes, a real royal one that fancy chicken with his colore tail the entourage that follows him hahaha.
Yes, peacocks can fly and I have also seen them in high places. Clumsy flyers though, but still, they can fly. Especially when they sense danger.
We have the latest bird identification book and it's amazing how many bird species had their names changed. But the local names still sticks to them.

Blessings.
You are right that the colored ones look better, but it was just so strange to see an albino.

Now I am curious and a little dismayed. We aren't going to recognize our own birds' names pretty soon. They have removed statues, signs, renamed streets, all in the name of being PC, but, honestly, you cannot change history, you can make the present never repeat it by remembering it.

If they rewrite history, maybe it will be forgotten. :(

The bad news is that they have issued new curriculums to schools with rewritten history.
You are right about the statue removals and the renamed streets my friend.
It is as if we are now strangers in our country of birth.

We don't know what the future holds in store for us.

God help us. He is the only one who can at this point

Absolutely my friend ❤️
