Feathered Friends: #SMaP Show Me A Photo Contest Round 112

in Feathered Friendslast year (edited)

The first photo is my entry for the new Feathered Friends Contest theme: Sparrows.

We've had a few days of sunny weather, so we called in at a nearby cafe. It was warm enough to sit outside, which was a nice change.

The local birds weren't scared of the people visiting the cafe. In fact, they got quite close to us, searching for any crumbs that they could find.

The birds were actually House Sparrows. Even though they are one of the UK's most common birds, they're still quite funny. We did feed them for being so entertaining!

Thank you @nelinoeva, @melinda010100, and @barbara-orenya for the #smap contest.

That's one mean looking sparrow on the first pic! :)

Ha ha, yes! 😁😁

Oh some great very close pictures!

Brilliant close-ups of the sparrows. They are very funny, always around us.🙂

Thank you @nelinoeva. 💖

nice picture, do you keep it?

The birds? No, they're wild.

oh I guess, you keep them. 😁

do all the wild birds there seem so tame?

At nature reserves and cafes in the countryside, the birds know people will feed them or there will be crumbs! They just grow to trust people. 🙂
