📸 Hello to the entire community. This is my entry for the Show Me A Photo Contest Round 241. In the photo, you can see a Cuban tody; they are tiny birds and common in open areas near water. But in this case, I found this little friend — whom I believe is a female — in a park in Guanabacoa.

Since the contest theme is open, I decided to participate with this image. That day, I was chatting with some friends over the Internet while downloading a TV series on public Wi-Fi when the tody appeared. I immediately hung up the call. I had wanted to take a photo of this type of bird for a while because I find them beautiful. I didn’t have my camera with me; however, seeing it so close, I took the pictures with my mom’s mobile phone, which has great resolution. I also photographed another tody in flight, which I believe is a male because its plumage color is darker. However, I chose to enter the contest with this photo because I find it more attractive than the other one I managed to take.

📸Hola a toda la comunidad. Esta es mi participación en el Show Me A Photo Contest Round 241. En la foto pueden ver una bijirita común cubana; son aves pequeñitas y usuales en áreas abiertas cerca del agua.
