This week's featured birds are a Red-bellied Woodpecker and Dark-eyed Junco.

I typically watch and count birds on Saturday and Sunday. This is my report for 15-16 January 2022.

Red-Bellied Woodpecker (Melanerpes carolinus, ORDER: Piciformes, FAMILY: Picidae)

The Red-bellied Woodpecker is a regular at the peanut feeder.

The sunrise is really beautiful and as always your birds are beautiful. I always say that our planet is very beautiful, it's a pity that we don't appreciate it enough.
