Yes, that is sad that those designated areas are also getting smaller and smaller. Alas. Hopefully it changes soon. We will realise that we cannot live without nature!

Let us not get too political but it is due to our consumerism nature in my own opinion. For example, I see when I drive from my town to my grandfather’s town 200km away from me only fields and fields of canola and wheat farms. Meanwhile, people eat, for example, pastries made with the wheat fried in the canola oil as “empty” calories or they throw it away or the shops throw them away. And so on.
The original fauna and flora has been destroyed for our own consumerism lifestyle. It is sad. Sorry for the ramblings!
This is all true, we are taking over almost all of the land 😢 Let's just hope that the changes we are seeing everywhere inspire humanity to try something different!

I think changes are coming, even though it is very slow. I think people are waking up. Even though only a small portion of people. It is important that we do not keep quiet. If everyone stops caring we are in danger.
We're already in danger, but if everyone stops caring, it's over for us, and possibly most of the other species too, except maybe those we call pests.
