Black-necked grebe at the Inn River

The wetlands of the Inn River are one of my favorite spots for birdphotography and birdspotting since you can find a lot of differnt birds there especially during the bird migration in spring and autumn a lot of different species rest there for some days before they fly to their destination. Because of this fact you can find a lot of different species there that are usually difficult to find eslewehre. But of course timing and beeing at the right time on the right spot is very important since the birds only stay for some days or sometimes even shorter. Except the resident birds there of course.

I think most birds of the grebe family are very beautiful. I also like the more common "great crested grebe" that I already took a lot of pictures here near Linz but also at the Inn River.
