Nuthatch at the bird feeder and on a tree

At the cementary here in Linz Urfahr there are several bird feeder where people leave behind some bird food and nuts for birds and squirrels. These places are usually good spots if you want to encounter some birds. But only specific species of birds come to the feeder, one of these is the nuthatch. Since it has a very nice orange and blue grey color it is a pretty photogenic bird. And another facht that makes it a great subject for a photo is that you can get pretty close and it still comes to the feeder. It can climb up and down trees with its perfect claws. The Eurasian nuthatch eats mainly insects, particularly caterpillars and beetles, although in autumn and winter its diet is supplemented with nuts and seeds.
