How great to be back in this wonderful ¨FeatheredFriendsCommunity¨:  to accompany the invitation that our friend @nelinoeva makes to us every week to participate in this incredible ¨FeatheredFriendsContest¨:  which allows you to publicize the beautiful birds that live in the area where you live. This week's slogan allows you to participate with any photograph of birds, an opportunity for you to show us the specimens from your city

For those who do not know me, I tell you that I live in ¨America¨ of the ¨South¨-¨Argentina¨ in a town in the interior of the country called ¨Corrientes¨. This week I want to show you a really beautiful bird that is typical of this area of the world, its name is ¨Colaptes¨ ¨melanochloros¨ :  This scientific name is associated with its colors, although few know it by that name, it is better known by the name "Royal Carpenter". An extremely hard-working bird, it is constantly working on the branches building its nest

These "woodpeckers" live in the beautiful nature reserve that I am always showing them, today being a cloudy day we were able to see the birds working on the branches of this pine tree ¨, unfortunately our position was not correct, being against the light, the images and video look dark. We did this filming and the shots with a ¨nikoncoolpixb500¨
