Cada vez que visito la ciudad me tengo que hacer una escapada hasta nuestra hermosa costanera, tenemos lugares muy bellos que invitar acercarse a la vera del rio y disfrutar de la bella postal rivereña; me gusta ver a las aguas del rio correr, y como en su desplazamiento van formando remolinos de aguas.

Una tarde mientras disfrutaba de un bello paisaje vi a unas palomitas bajar cercar del rio, y no dude un solo instante en tomar nuestra cámara y hacer unas hermosas fotografías de ellas. Se trata de una pequeña paloma de nombre ¨Columbina¨¨picui¨: unas de las aves que más se han adaptado a vivir en cercanía de las personas.

One afternoon while I was enjoying a beautiful landscape I saw some doves coming down near the river, and I did not hesitate for a single moment to take our camera and take some beautiful photographs of them. It is a small dove named ¨Columbina¨¨picui¨: one of the birds that have most adapted to living close to people.
Este tipo de aves es conocida en gran parte del mundo, y dependiendo de donde vivas es posible que lo conozcas con un nombre diferente. Es originaria de ¨América¨ del ¨sur¨, pero por lo que pude leer ahora vive en otros ¨continentes¨. Es una de las aves más dócil de la ciudad, tanto, que se han convertido en el bocadillo favorito de los gatos. Escogí esta última fotografía para que participe del concurso. This type of bird is known in much of the world, and depending on where you live you may know it by a different name.
