I have never had a Ostrich meat, these are some of the things I missed out on when I was in SA though it was all about trying to survive and not really having the spare money to explore and enjoy.

Meat is available in most stores here, never seen the egg. While in NZ you must be on the lookout for kangaroo meat in stores, that is tasty as well.

I have had a deer 🦌 here, quite nice I will have to eat Kangaroo as well, just haven't find out where yet.

Normally in supermarkets, makes a good stew.
