Aprovechando mi visita al Zoológico Santa Cruz hace un par de meses, decidí participar con el Rey de los Gallinazos. Cuando tome la fotografía estaba algo furioso.
El Rey de los Gallinazos es un ave carroñera muy parecida al cóndor. Tiene una cresta dorada encima de su pico llamada carúncula, su pico tiene un diseño que le permite rasgar su presa. Es un animal dominante ante otros carroñeros.
Su peso puede estar entre 2 y 4.5 Kg. Su altura puede llegar a los 81 Cm y su longitud unos 200 Cm. Se encuentran el sitios como bosques tropicales, áreas abiertas, sabanas y pastizales.

Taking advantage of my visit to the Santa Cruz Zoo a couple of months ago, I decided to participate with the King of the Cockerels. When I took the picture I was a bit furious.
The King of the Gallinules is a scavenger bird very similar to the condor. It has a golden crest on top of its beak called caruncle, its beak has a design that allows it to tear its prey. It is a dominant animal in front of other scavengers.
Its weight can be between 2 and 4.5 kg. Its height can reach 81 Cm and its length about 200 Cm. They are found in tropical forests, open areas, savannahs and grasslands.
