Here in my town, it is very common to see "tortollitas", they are called this way because they are almost always in pairs, always together, very rare to see them alone, they are faithful to their partner...It is a very small bird measures about 11 to 12 cms approximately.It is the queen of camouflage because due to its grayish color, it can go unnoticed, I tell you that to take these photos was an odyssey, because they are confused among the vegetation.They cheer my yard with their chirping, they always come down to the ground to peck.

I hope you enjoy this mischievous bird, known as the bird of lovers, in my country Venezuela usually when you see a couple very much in love, they are called "tortolos" or "tortolitos" in reference to this little bird.

Hello, if they camouflage themselves, when the sun hits them they can be distinguished a little more, they are always in pairs, the photo where they appear alone, is because the other one flew to another branch.
