How are those who visit this beautiful ¨FeatheredFriendsCommunity¨: doing? You can't imagine the excitement of having filmed this precious bird to participate in this wonderful ¨FeatheredFriends¨-¨PhotoContest¨: by @nelinoeva. Of all the challenges we participate in during the week, this is one of my favorites because it motivates us to go birdwatching daily.

You probably remember that I mentioned in other posts that in my city we are just a few weeks away from the arrival of "autumn," but the days are already typical of the season, and the nights and mornings are cool, so we are now doing our birdwatching during siesta time. This change in behavior gave us the opportunity to see and film this ¨species¨: of bird that until now we had never seen

Although they are native to this part of the world, we have never seen them. Even my grandfather, who knows many species, did remember hearing them called "little woodpecker," but he never actually saw them. They are very small birds, which, due to their size, are quite restless, as you can see in the video.

You’ve spotted a beautiful bird that neither you nor your grandparents had ever seen before. At first I thought it was a woodpecker, but then I noticed the size and colour of the feathers on its head and realised that wasn’t the case.
It’s very small and very cute with its quick movements; it seems to be in a great hurry and that’s charming, but what I like most is the plumage, the colours and how its little head stands out so much. It’s great that you managed to capture this beautiful bird; it must be because of its size that many people don’t see it, and that’s good for it as a natural defence. Thank you for the lovely video and for bringing this beautiful bird to us. Big hug!🤗

Thank you so much @topcomment and @friendlymoose!!💗
This bird, along with the cardinal, are the two strangest and most beautiful species we've ever seen and filmed.
The whole family was amazed by this beauty. We watched the video my grandmother made many times because we couldn't believe that a bird with that pattern and those colors on its feathers, especially its head, could exist.
My grandmother is a genius for spotting this bird among the branches.
Thank you so much, Amonet, for appreciating and supporting my video.
Have a wonderful afternoon.

It's such a sweet bird; I was so happy we got to see and film it.
Thank you so much, Grandpa.
Thank you very much @hive-106444
Good morning, @miprimerconcurso. You can already tell by the color of the leaves that autumn is setting in over there. Regarding the video and photos of the "little woodpecker," thank you so much for sharing them. I had never seen one before.
I hope you have a wonderful day.
Muchas gracias.
Que disfrutes de una tarde hermosa.
