Hello Feathered Friends Lovers,
Welcome to #SMaP Show Me A Photo Contest Round 76!
The new round is opened and if you wonder what it will be this time, I will not keep you waiting long. This topic is not new, we had it before, but I wish to see again photos of the young birds - fledglings. The birds leave their nests when they are fully fledged. But they are still very much dependant on their parents. You will see how they follow the parents begging to be fed.
The new round is opened and the theme is
YOUNG BIRD/FLEDGLING
To illustrate this topic here are some recent photos I took.
Great Tit
Hooded crow. I think it is young bird, but maybe our Crow lady @corvidae can tell better.

Rules
Show me your photo of a bird, following these rules:
- The photo must be your own.
- Post in the community Feathered Friends
- You may add more photos, but you should state which one is your entry, otherwise the first will be taken into account.
- Tell us something about your photo/s.
- Your photo must follow the weekly theme.
- Please put the link of your entry in the comment section of the contest post here.
- Put in the title of your post that this is an entry for the contest. (Optional)
- Use #smap as a tag.
If you create quality post with more images and interesting story about them, making extra effort can give you bigger upvotes and attract curators. Keep that in mind.
Prizes
Five winners and each winner will receive 2 Hive and 200 Ecency POINTS.

I'm not as familiar with hooded crows since (sadly) we don't have them here. I would guess though that by the brownish tint on the feathers that are normally much darker, that that's a yearling? I know that with the black crows (not the band, lol), the yearlings' feathers don't turn black until after their second molt. And the fledglings still have the pink gape in their mouth corners.
So ultimately still a young crow!
Hooded crows are different than the black ones, but you are our expert and I trust you know better than me 🙂
The bird was pretty calm and not afraid at all. And the size definetely smaller than the other crows. The browinsh tint was something I have never seen before. So, yearling could be. Amazing how many words the birds got to describe each stage since they hatch up to adulthood.
