I was surprised to see the hoopoe three days in a row. Today it decided to visit the kindergarden, which was closed, because we had public holiday. So, uninterrupted the hoopoe enjoed the garden there.
Amazing how far the bee-eaters will go. I am sure they are gathering to leave and maybe I will not see them untill they return in April.

They tend to return to a good feeding area then move on, had them in my garden for a couple of days and never seen them again in the garden.
We do see them along rivers and often randomly on peoples pavements.
