After this introduction I would like to show you some pics from late December, when the weather was still pleasant. Not like it is these days - cold, cloudy, windy. I haven't touched the camera for some time and I must say I am longing for the first spring days when the birds will be returning from the South and to welcome the flocks of storks and pelicans.

But now let's see what is going on the beach.

Seagulls, easy to photograph, they know the beach is theirs. 😉

I have seen seagulls eating anything, now it was the turn to munch big jellyfish. By the way, these jellyfish pull me off the sea - one of the reasons to avoid the sea in the summer. They were not seen in the shallow waters before. Something made them come closer and honestly this is not my idea to swim in such waters. Well, they are not constantly there, otherwise all holidaymakers will escape, but still...

Now back to our hungry seagull. This is a feast. The waves washed enough jellyfish on the shore and all the bird has to do is to enjoy the free bufet.

And off she goes with big chunk in the beak.

This day I have made many photos, that come handy in bad weather. However, I will keep the rest for further posts and until then I wish you nice encounters with our feathered friends.

Amazing shots! Especially, I loved the last one! A perfect moment!

Thank you. 🙂
I love to capture the birds in flight.

Wow! But this is very interesting. Although why am I surprised, seagulls eat everything in general 😄

My point exactly, I don't think they will refuse any food. 😄

mm, im glad seagulls can eat jellyfish

Well, me too. 🙂

I didn't know they eat even this... Even weirder than eating living pigeons (which I witnessed in St. Petersburg).

Yeah, I saw them eating pigeons and it was gross.
They do eat everything.
